As anticipated, the three days Media fiesta ended up with a bang and received accolades
both from the students as well as the biggies of the media sphere. The three days
witnessed the entire eminent and connoisseur journos on a common platform, sharing
their expertise with the aspiring students who aim at making a special stand in
the communication world. Not even a single aspect of journalism was left untouched
during the Media fest 24 "Manthan."
Take the name of any renowned journalists of the media industry, they all were present
at the event to appreciate and acknowledge the Gen-X of this industry. Be it the
very suave, editor-in chief of Times Now, Mr. Arnab Goswami or the very prudish,
editor-in-chief of CNN IBN, Mr Rajdeep Sardesai they all bestowed their lifelong
experiences on the students present, who were desperate to seek their every word
being uttered.
The combined effort of the faculty members and the students brought laurels to the
institution and made ISOMES reach up to the pinnacle. ISOMES can now proudly brag
to be a top name in the media institutes to reckon with. For the students of ISOMES
half the battle is won, as they so closely get to experience the very intricate
aspects of TV journalism.
The ideology to manifest Manthan was in itself very eclectic. The imparting work
was very deftly done by the teachers. Various colleges across Delhi and NCR participated
in the fest and came out with flying colors by showcasing their talents in different
competitions like the PTC, RJ hunt, Choreography, Nukkad Natak and Documentary.
It's beyond doubt that the budding journalists are going to take the nation by storm.
The icing on the cake for the aspirants was the prize distribution ceremony. For
students who won the PTC competition the distribution of the zeniths was done by
the connoisseur journalists Mr Arnab Goswami( Editor in chief, Times Now) and Mr
Ashutosh ( Managing Editor, IBN 7). It was not a less pride moment for the winners
of film festival as their films got appreciation by known film director Mr. Madhur
Bhandarkar who also distributed trophies to the participants and boost their morale.
It was so surreal for the winners to receive the award from the people whom they
admire as their role models. Kudos to the entire team of ISOMES and B.A.G. family
for making "Manthan" a jamboree affair.
